Biography:

I began as a Postdoctoral Scholar in August 2022, working in the labs of Drs. Anthony Didlake and Colin Zarzycki. My research here at Penn State focuses on tropical cyclones in climate models and reanalyses - specifically, I am looking into how wind shear and its effects on storm structure are captured. Broadly, my interests are in all things tropical weather and climate. My Ph.D. research (under the advisement of Dr. Allison Wing at Florida State University) used idealized high-resolution models to study convective organization and tropical cyclone formation.
