Ed Perry with the National Wildlife Federation brought the crowd together to talk about solutions for Climate Change. Twenty people talked about the issue Monday afternoon, there were doctors, sportsmen, and representatives of the religious community.
Dr. Ray Najjar told the crowd it's not just a global issue, he says climate change is affecting things right here in Central Pennsylvania He says a warm winter in 2012 hurt apple farmers. He says those farmers told him the changing weather over the last several decades have made apple farming tougher.
Perry asked people to fill out post cards that they're going to send to lawmakers encouraging them to do something like becoming less dependent on fossil fuels.
