Abstract:
Of all the planetary atmosphere’s beyond Earth, Mars’ thin cold atmosphere is the best studied, but many scientific puzzles remain. Today, two Mars rovers, Curiosity and Perseverance, are exploring the history of Mars, helping understand if life could have ever thrived on its surface, monitoring its modern atmosphere and climate, and preparing for human exploration of the Red Planet. While both rovers are designed as field geologists, they each have made unique discoveries about the dry and dusty martian climate.
