Room 529 Walker was dedicated in the name of Alfred K. Blackadar and houses the department's library collection as well as serves as a conference room for thesis defenses and other small lectures and meetings. 

The room is technology-equipped with a ceiling mounted projector and a computer with speakers and internet access.  A laptop can also be connected to be used in conjunction with the projector mounted in the ceiling.
